Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, Kenya

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi.

Meet your private driver/guide and transfer to your luxury accommodation in Nairobi, such as Giraffe Manor or Hemingway’s Nairobi and check-in.

Depending on your arrival time, you may have the option to visit attractions in Nairobi like the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust or the Karen Blixen Museum.

Have your dinner at the hotel or at a recommended restaurant in Nairobi and over-night stay at your luxury accommodation.

Day 2: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, transfer to Wilson Airport for a private charter flight to the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by your safari guide and transferred to your luxury safari lodge or tented camp, such as Angama Mara or &Beyond Bateleur Camp.

Have lunch at the lodge and in the afternoon, go for a wildlife game drive in the Masai Mara, with opportunities to spot the Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, rhinos) and other wildlife. In the evening unwind and have a relax with drinks and panoramic views of the Mara plains.

Have your dinner at the lodge and overnight stay at your luxury accommodation.

Day 3: Go for an immersive Masai Mara game drive and later tour the Maasai cultural village

Rise early in the morning and go for a wildlife game drive in the Masai Mara to catch the sunrise and witness predators on the hunt and a thrilling and adrenalin catching spectacle of various wild life in their splendor in the savannah grass lands.

Return to the lodge for breakfast.

Relax at the lodge or participate in optional activities such as a guided nature walk or a hot air balloon safari (at an additional cost).

Have lunch at the lodge and in the afternoon go for additional wildlife game drives and see more wild animals like cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, wild beasts, antelopes and various bird species and later visit the local Maasai cultural village for cultural immersion.

Have your dinner at the lodge and overnight stay at your luxury accommodation.

Day 4: Masai Mara to Entebbe Airport in Uganda

Have morning wildlife game drive in the Masai Mara for any last sightings.

Then have Breakfast at the lodge and then transfer to the airstrip for your private charter flight back to Nairobi.

Connect to a commercial flight from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi to Entebbe International Airport, Uganda.

Upon arrival in Entebbe, you’ll be met by our GS Uganda safari representative and transferred to your luxury accommodation, such as the Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort & Spa.

Have your dinner at the hotel or at a recommended restaurant in Entebbe and over-night stay at your luxury accommodation.

Day 5: Fly to Kihihi Airstrip from Entebbe for Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and go for Batwa Community Walk

Have early morning breakfast and transfer to Entebbe Airport for your private charter flight to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and land at Kihihi Airstrip.

A direct flight between Entebbe International Airport and Kihihi airstrip takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes. This is a rough estimate, and actual flight times may vary slightly depending on the type of aircraft, weather conditions and route used but, on this trip, Aerolink chartered flight will be used.

Upon arrival, you will be meet by our GS Uganda guide and then transferred to your accommodation for check-in

Have lunch at your lodge and then in the afternoon go for the batwa community walk in Bwindi forest where you will interact with the amazing, charitable and welcoming Batwa pygmy people who will teach you about there way of life, culture and customs.

In the evening have super and retire to your lodge or accommodation

Day 6: Go Gorilla trekking at Buhoma Sector in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Have early morning breakfast and be picked by our driver guide and be transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by the park rangers then, begin your gorilla trekking adventure, hiking through the dense forest in search of a gorilla family.

The Buhoma Sector in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to several gorilla families available for trekking experiences. The exact number of gorilla families can vary over time due to factors like births, deaths, and group dynamics. However, typically there are around four habituated gorilla families available for trekking in the Buhoma Sector. These families include Mubare, Habinyanja, Rushegura, and Katwe groups.

Spend a magical hour observing the gorillas and their behavior in their natural habitat and have your lunch en-route the trek

In the evening have your super and retire to your lodge or accommodation

Day 7: Transfer to Kihihi airfield or be driven back to Entebbe Airport for your End of Trip

Have early morning breakfast and be picked by our driver guide and be transferred to Kihihi airfield for your fly back to Entebbe airport or be driven to Entebbe airport via Kampala with a brief stopover to check the cultural arts market and do shopping before being transferred to Entebbe airport depending on your flight schedule.
