Uganda wildlife Authority has come up with discounted price on gorilla permits from December 1st to 30th june 2021, As Uganda trays to recover from the  impacts of coronavirus on the tourism Industry, Uganda wildlife Authority has set up wildlife  promotional prices on gorilla permits, chimps, park entry fees and others with a view of attracting more visitors to different tourism destinations in the country.

The discounted prices have been extended  up 30th June 2021. The offer was due to end on the 31st March 2021, however UWA have announced via ITB Berlin 2021 that the offer will be extended until 30th June 2021

The following discounts have been offered with effect from December 1st to June 30th 2021:

1.50% discount on the park entry fees for all the Ugandan National parks like: Murchison falls national park, Queen Elizabeth National park, lake mburo national park, kidepo national park, semuliki national park and others.

2. 50% on birding fees

3. Discounted Gorillas  permits considering the following tourist categories  from dec 1st upto june 30th 2021st as follows:

• Ugandans/East Africans – UGX 150000 to UGX 100000.The reduction on Gorilla and Chimpanzee Trekking Permits will only apply to new purchases between 1st December 2020 and 30th June 2021 and not on reschedules of already deposited on permits or purchases using credit letters National Park Entrance Fees50% discount on park entrance fee for the following National Parks- Lake Mburo National Park- Queen Elizabeth National Park- Kidepo Valley National Park- Murchison Falls National Park, – Semuliki National Park,- Toro Semuliki Wildlife Reserve,- Katonga Wildlife Reserve,- Kabwoya Wildlife Reserve,- Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve.
  

  Birdwatching Fees  50% discount on birdwatching fees at the following National Parks

  – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

  – Mgahinga National Park,

  – Kibale Forest National Park,

  – Mount Elgon National Park,

  – Semuliki National Park,
