Uganda Considered the Pearl of Africa has been ranked as one of the best Tourist Destination in 2023-2024

Uganda which was revered as the Pearl of Africa by the famous world war 2 chancellor Sir.Winston Churchil, as an astonishing beauty has been ranked by CNN among the world’s biggest and highly ranked tour destination

Listed among the top 23 destinations in a report released by the news network(CNN) Uganda and two other East African Countries including Rwanda and Tanzania were picked for unique features that can attract international visitors with Uganda boasting of attractions like the Nile River, Lake Victoria, Mt Rwenzori great equatorial forests and rare animal species like the mountain gorillas and chimpanzees and incredible and unique wild life among others.

In an article published by CNN’s travel guide on January 1, 2023, Uganda was listed as one of the best tourism destinations in the world that CNN recommended for its audience to explore. “There’s considerable change brewing in Uganda’s travel offerings at the moment with the East African country looking to recover from the post-covid and Ebola epidemic and also looking beyond the traditional staples of safari and wildlife spotting to appeal to both regional and international visitors and entice them to come to the country.

The country is seeking to expand its tourist scope from not only the big-ticket tourist businesses offerings like the Big Five beasts or mountain gorillas, but turn to marketing its other attributes like the expansive shores of Lake Victoria to the snowy Rwenzori Mountains and also opportunities for adventure including treks through the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest up to the craters of the Virunga volcano chain or whitewater rafting along the great Victoria Nile in Jinja.

Community tourism has led to connection of visiting tourists with Ugandan communities promising tastes of Ugandan food, music and culture like the Nyege Nyege music and cultural festival.
