Overview
The 3 Days Kibale Chimpanzee Tracking Safari is an amazing Uganda safari that will see you trekking chimps through the rain forest jungles of Kibale forest national park following a bunch of habituated chimpanzees and learning their ways of living. That moment on in that jungle will leave lasting memories with you that you’ll cherish forever.
Kibale National Park Uganda is of a home over 70 mammal species, most famously 13 species of primate including the chimpanzee
Kibale also contains over 375 species of birds. Kibale adjoins Queen Elizabeth National Park to the south to create a 180km-long corridor for wildlife between Ishasha, the remote southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Sebitoli in the north of Kibale National Park.
This Kibale Chimpanzee Tracking Safari will take you through the beautiful town of Fort-portal one of Uganda’s most rewarding destinations to explore. The park lies close to the tranquil Ndali-Kasenda crater area and within half a day’s drive of the Queen Elizabeth, Rwenzori Mountains and Semuliki National Parks, as well as the Toro-Semliki Wildlife Reserve.
While trekking the Kibale Chimpanzee Tracking Safari, look out for varied number of primates. Altogether about thirteen species. These include red, black and white Columbus monkeys, blue monkeys, baboons and a large number of chimpanzees. Also, the dense rain forest habitat is good to see.the rare birding spicies in bigodi wetland like: Papyrus Gonolek, White-winged Warbler, White-collared Oliveback and Papyrus Canary.

- Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park by road
- Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest
- Day 3: Drive back to Kampala or Entebbe
Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park via
Fort Portal.
Early morning at your Hotel. You will be picked up and driven by your private Kibale Chimpanzee Tracking Safari driver and guide to Fort Portal district via Mubende. You will make stops at Nakayima tree shrine believed to be hosting the spirit of Nakayima. Uganda Safari You will also make other stops at different fascinating places along the way.
From here, you will have a lunch break before touching down late afternoon in Fort Portal. You will spend your night at either Ndali Logde or Crater Valley Kibale.

DAY 2: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest
Early morning regroup at the lodge. Prepare for the exciting day of the Kibale Chimpanzee Tracking Safari with an early morning walk through Kibale forest in search of chimps and other primates. Your journeys with the experienced guides will give you a lot of insight into the lives of primates and will shock you at how well organized and close to human beings these animals are.
Later on you will take a walk to Bigodi wetland for birds and other primates living around this swampy area. In the evening, you will retire at either Ndali Logde or Crater Valley Kibale.

DAY 3: Visit to Amabere Ga Nyinamwiru and drive back to Kampala.
In the morning you will head out towards Amabere Ga Nyinamwiru. You will come face to face with stalactites and stalagmites. Have a walk around the trees and take some breathtaking pictures before you go back to the lodge to have lunch.
You will proceed to Kampala and arrive early evening. Retire to your Hotel for the night.
